Anwuzia, Dafe Commend Chukwunwike’s Development Drive, Urge More Commitment

The member representing Aniocha South in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Isaac Ozoemenam Anwuzia, Ph.D, has applauded the developmental strides of the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , describing his achievements as highly commendable. He urged him to sustain the momentum in line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda.

Chief Anwuzia, a member of the House Committee on Local Government Affairs led by its Chairman, Hon. Chief Chukwudi Dafe, made the commendation during an oversight inspection of key projects executed across the council. He expressed delight at the level of transformation recorded within just one year and two months of Pastor Chukwunwike’s administration.

The team inspected several completed projects, including:
👉 40 lock-up shops at Afor Market, Ogwashi-Uku
👉 Rehabilitation and delivery of medical equipment at Ubulu-Uku General Hospital
👉 The newly built Divisional Police Station at Ubulu-Uku, among others.

Overwhelmed by the visible impact of these projects, Chief Anwuzia noted that Pastor Chukwunwike is not only fulfilling his campaign promises but also consolidating the Governor’s vision for grassroots prosperity. He urged the council chairman to keep pushing the frontiers of development, assuring that his legacies will be remembered for generations.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government Affairs, Chief Chukwudi Dafe, also commended Pastor Chukwunwike, stressing that the projects inspected stand as clear evidence of responsible governance and visionary leadership. He encouraged the council chairman to sustain his passion for service as Aniocha South journeys toward greater heights.

Responding, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike thanked the delegation for the oversight visit despite their tight legislative schedule. He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to expand infrastructure development, especially as the dry season sets in. He disclosed that the Matron’s Lodge in Adonte has been completed and will soon be commissioned, noting that the facility will enhance medical outreach and provide accommodation for healthcare workers.

Beyond these, Pastor Chukwunwike also highlighted other notable projects his administration has delivered, including the renovation of 171 open stalls and construction of 10 new lock-up shops at Nkwor Market, Nsukwa; 141 open stalls and 6 new lock-up shops at Ubulu-Okiti market; an early completed block of three classrooms at Ishe Primary School, Ewulu; and a block of 4 classrooms at Etiti Amaka Primary School, Ubulu-Uno.

With visible projects spread across communities, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike’s leadership continues to inspire confidence in a brighter and more prosperous Aniocha South, a legacy of service, dedication, and a consolidatory vision that will leave no community behind, guided by the needs assessed.
